I kept editing and re-writing this entry 'cause I can't seem to put my thoughts in order. This year has just been too much of a whirlwind for me to just distill it and cram it all together. Succinctness was never my strong suit. Hahaha.
But anyhoo, one of the main reasons why I finally got off my butt to blog again was because of you awesome people who actually read this space and leave such lovely comments. How can you guys be so nice?!? And for all of you who have been supporting Lacepipe this past year:

We're always unbelievably touched whenever we receive supportive/kind/encouraging and all around wonderful comments through this blog or our site or through emails. Whether it's about being excited for our launches or loving your purchases or favorite-ing our site, everything. Every time I read one I just think, Wow I can't believe people actually like us! HAHAHA. I think it comes from having faced so many low looooows while trying to make something of the shop.
There were so many times when we could have said, Okay enough stop. This is not going to work out. And everyone would probably have agreed that it was the right decision. I'd mope and entertain that idea for awhile but ultimately, I just couldn't give up on it. I kept thinking just one more collection, maybe things will get better. Or how about we do this, maybe it will get better. So we just trudged through, my awesome partner and I, and I'm not sure how we did it but here we are now. I know we are by no means successful but I know in time, we will get there. Which reminds me of that National Day song. Way to spoil the moment. Hahaha.
But really, what we want to say is, thank you. There's really no way round it, no better simpler way to say it. Thank you for letting us continue to do what we do.
